• Signals from multiple transmitter no longer destroy signal (analog FMI), but rather improve reception- SFN Gain.
No distortion from reflection and multipath anymore (guard interval)
Advantages for Broadcasters
* Option to migrate from high power single transmitter to lower power distributed coverage- cost savings- better coverage
*Simple installation of gap-filters
